OUR MISSION

OUR MISSION

We are a place-based learning camp set in the hills of Kingston Springs, Tennessee. Campers are invited to step outside of their normal, technology-filled world to explore the joys of the ukulele and the creek, crops and rolling hills of West Glow Farm. Our goal is to create space for a child's natural curiosity and sense of wonder to run wild as they learn about music, nature and sustainable agriculture.

ABOUT US

IMG_2537.jpeg

Camp Sparrow Song was dreamt up by two proud MNPS teachers after a challenging year of virtual learning.

Emily Riley (Music at Julia Green Elementary School) and Laura Kilen (4th Grade at Glendale Elementary School) connected with dear friends at West Glow Farm to start envisioning a space where kids could explore, create and experience childhood without the distractions of technology. The result was a week of pure bliss! We believe children are our most precious asset and consider it an honor that you would trust us to guide and nurture them for a week on the farm!
